Fake Away Pizza by The Clever Cook
This simple recipe will change your weekends forever- whole grain tortilla pizzas.
These are perfect for Friday evenings when the thought of cooking a full-fledged meal is just too much to bear and you don't want to cancel out your whole weeks efforts of eating well, or have to watch the kids tuck into a double cheese share size!
Wrapped up in 10 minutes max, these tortilla pizzas are something everyone in the household will LOVE!
You can be as creative as you in like in toppings but I suggest, some low fat cheese, a good rich tomato sauce, veggies and meats- yum!
Ingredients Per Pizza
- 1 whole grain tortilla wrap
- 1 heaped tbsp of tomato puree sauce (I used an M&S range, but Dolmio do a wide variety)
- Sprinkle of grated cheese
- Diced mixed peppers (optional- can be onions)
- Sliced chicken breast
- Diced chorizo sausage
Method
Pre-heat grill to a high heat
Cover the tortilla wrap with the tomato sauce
Sprinkle with cheese and mixed peppers
Arrange choice of meat
Place until a hot grill for 3-5 minutes
Remove, slice and enjoy!
