The gym, New Year's resolutions, healthy eating, 8 weeks to perfect abs adverts have totally taken over our social media accounts, and for this reason we are raging against a little bit by giving you a chocolate recipe. It's that good you'll be woofing it down. *See what we did there? ( smiley face)

Rich in antioxidants

In just a few short steps you can have yourself a deliciously rich and satisfying treat! Made with 85% dark chocolate, meaning rich in antioxidants and low in sugar, this chocolate bark with roasted hazelnuts and shredded coconut is perfect for nibbling on cosy nights in with the TV or to top off a warm bowl of wholegrain porridge oats on these cold and blustery mornings!

Ingredients

With few ingredients and short preparation this is one to try if your an amateur in the kitchen to set you off on the right foot!

  1. 1 80g bar of Lindt 85% dark chocolate
  2. 1/2 cup of chopped oven roasted hazelnuts
  3. 1/3 cup of shredded unsweetened coconut

Method

Break up the chocolate in bowl or saucepan and heat slowly, stirring often until a smooth rich melted chocolate is formed.

Cut a large square of baking paper and pour melted chocolate onto it, spreading evenly with the back of a large spoon.

Sprinkle your roasted hazelnuts and diced coconut evenly over the melted chocolate. Don't be afraid to be generous!

Place carefully on a baking tray and pop in the freezer or fridge for 30 minutes.

Once fully solidified, break chocolate slab into bite sized pieces and place in a bowl for sharing or in a sealed tight container to upgrade your oats every morning. Enjoy!
